I need to be jogging in place right about now as I'm FREEZING!
I was generally lazy this weekend, but did spend more time Sunday upright at the kitchen table than on the couch! Barely.
Today started out with a bang though. I want to get those stinking annoying last two pounds off my backside in the next week or so, so I can finally submit to insurance! Grrr, time to get mad at those pesky pounds and see if I can simply scare them off!
Today--so far: did 30 minutes on the elliptical (added 10 minutes) and did a 20 minute walk. I have one more 20 min walk planned, assuming I don't freeze before then. I've also been good and monitored my blood sugar throughout the day and writing in my food diary.
Tomorrow--goals: psych eval, take two! It's scheduled for 9 am. I want to get my 30 minutes on the elliptical in, and want to skip the shuttles and do my 2 x 20 minute walks. I am so looking forward to spring! Anyway, food diary and accountability are my other goals for tomorrow.

Today I worked for 4 hours. I have to go back to night for a few more. I am switching from early mornings to nights for my kiddos. They need me here in the mornings now that daddy is gone. :(
I have also packed up all my husband's clothing since he isn't going to be here for a while. I will do more packing tomorrow when I get more boxes, paper, and tape.
Tomorrow I will work again and pack some more. Maybe go do alittle shopping for paint. :D

Oh, Gidget, he's gone already??? Seems like you just mentioned he was going to go so recently. Thank you guys for your sacrifice for our country. I know he's putting his life in danger, but you guys are also having to deal with huge sacrifice by not having him home, having to take care of the kids on your own and your job, all while moving.
Know that your efforts are appreciated and I am thinking of you guys. I hope his tour goes super fast and he gets home before you know it, stuck with the paint choices YOU got to pick out! Heh heh.
You're going to have weight lifter biceps in no time from all that boxing and lifting! Flex THIS bay-bee!

I'm glad you're feeling better, Sherry!
I know that bug is a pain in the behind to recover from. The cough that never wants to leave! Ugh. I hate those creepy Mucinex commercials, probably because I am on a first name basis with those mucus characters. Blecch.
You're doing a great job being able to work a monstrously long shift and then still having the energy to go walk all while recovering from your bug.
Keep it up and I'm sure you'll be back to full speed in no time!

Because the wind was not so cold today, Connor and I got out and took a walk in the snow down the road. It was GREAT to be outside, even though it was cold and snowy. It wasn't a long walk, only about 1/2 mile, and with a two year old that was stopping for everything, so I plan on getting on my bike when he goes to bed, I'm up to almost 5 miles on my recumbent bike now.
Same plan for tomorrow outside time if the weather permits and bike to get the cardio going.

I'm so glad Connor got to go out in the snow, but sorry you guys had a wasted snow day! Timing is everything, huh?
We got nothing but cold and wind (and pretty falling snow, but it didn't really do much of anything). I'm looking forward to a nice warm front so I can get through a walk without frozen shins!
Have a kick butt 5 mile trip on that bike!
